In November 2001, with 15 years experience in the sheet metal business, Leonard Dopson established L D Fabrications Ltd. L D Fabrications started off in small premises in Moulton on the outskirts of Northampton. Within 6 months we realised that these premises were not going to be sufficient for this expanding and outgoing company.

In March of 2002 L D Fabrications moved to their new premises in Wellingborough. Here we would have more space for improved machinery and greater production capacity.

Shortly after the move, a new CNC Brakepress was ordered, quickly followed by a laser cutter.

Manager Gareth Bull has been with the company from the beginning. Gareth is highly skilled in all aspects of design and the production of sheet metal work having served his apprenticeship with the Royal Engineers to a very high standard. To the benefit of LD Fabrications Gareth is continually upgrading his skills with ongoing courses.
